The Nicastro brothers eventually opened their next store on Merivale Road, to capture the growing Italian population in that area. Joe, Rocco and Frank Nicastro can still be found at Nicastro's on Merivale Road in Ottawa.

Introducing La Bottega - 1995 Having realized a need for an Italian store in the downtown Ottawa area Pat Nicastro (Joe's son) opened La Bottega Nicastro in the Byward Market. La Bottega (Italian for the shop or boutique) opened in May 1995.
